About to ADDM 2027
The 2027 International Conference on Art, Design, and Digital Media will be held in Nantong, using the river and sea as fabrics and pixels as needles: allowing the indigo of the blue printed fabric to communicate with the light of the screen. The conference is aimed at artists, designers, digital media creators, inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, and university teachers and students, discussing topics such as the contemporary transformation of traditional crafts, visual communication and brand narrative, interactive and experiential design, digital film and animation, AIGC creative ethics, digitalization of cultural heritage, and visual genealogy of river and sea culture. The agenda includes workshops for Shen embroidery and blue printed fabrics, design residency, outdoor screening of short films, AIGC co creation experiments, a young designer market, and an industrial inspection of Zhang Jian's hometown, emphasizing the mutual achievement of handmade temperature and technical accuracy. Nantong boasts a modern industrial context, intangible cultural heritage resources, a foundation in home textiles and construction industries, and an open atmosphere at the confluence of rivers and seas, making it suitable for small-scale experimentation and industrialization. The conference aims to incubate design languages with regional recognition, copyright cooperation, and industry university research platforms, serving cultural new quality productivity and urban brand construction.

All full paper submissions to the ADDM 2027 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ADDM 2027 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to addm@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
