About to EEPNM 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Earth Observation, Environmental Protection, and New Materials will be held in Chengdu, anchoring the characteristic development scenario of ecological protection and green materials industry synergy in the southwest region. It will be aimed at domestic and foreign researchers, environmental technology leaders, and practitioners in the new materials industry, and build a cross-border exchange platform that connects cutting-edge observation technologies with local ecological governance scenarios. The conference focused on the construction of an integrated ecological observation network for air, space, and earth, the implementation of ecological restoration technologies for high-altitude watersheds, the mass production and adaptation of low-carbon and environmentally friendly new materials, and the material utilization of industrial solid waste resources. Through theme sharing, frontline case analysis, and supply and demand docking sessions, it directly faced the practical bottlenecks in the coordinated promotion of ecology and industry in Southwest China, and exchanged practical solutions that can be directly reused. The conference leverages Chengdu's advantages in science, education, and industrial clusters in the fields of environmental remote sensing and new materials to promote cross track linkage of technology resources in different fields, facilitate precise integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and build an exclusive industry collaboration and achievement landing channel for ecological protection and green manufacturing industry upgrading in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.

All full paper submissions to the EEPNM 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of EEPNM 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to eepnm@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
