About to ESHG 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Environment, Society, and Human Geography is scheduled to be held in Guiyang, China. It is a high-level international academic event that brings together cutting-edge academic forces in environmental science, social development, and human geography from around the world. Guiyang is located in the hinterland of central Guizhou and the key point of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. With the unique ecological endowment of karst landform and the profound connotation of multi-ethnic cultural integration, Guiyang has established distinctive academic advantages and demonstration effects in the fields of theoretical innovation of ecological civilization construction, exploration of the evolution law of human land relationship, and research on regional social, cultural and geographical characteristics. This conference focuses on core topics such as the coupling mechanism and regional response strategies of the human environment system under the background of global climate change, the sustainable development path and social adaptive governance of ecologically fragile areas, the spatial evolution of ethnic cultural landscapes and the interpretation of human geographical significance, the optimization of urban and rural living environment and the promotion of social equity under the guidance of green development concept, and the empowerment of geographic information technology for environmental monitoring and social spatial analysis. Covering key areas such as the forefront of ecological geography, social spatial research, and cultural landscape protection, we invite globally renowned universities, authoritative research institutions, and outstanding scholars from related disciplines to attend. Through various forms such as invited keynote speeches, academic symposiums, cutting-edge achievements exhibitions, and high-end roundtable dialogues, we aim to establish an international chemical collaboration platform that connects natural ecology and human care. With the fundamental purpose of promoting the deep integration of ecological civilization concepts into social development and human geography research, this conference is committed to generating original achievements in modernizing global environmental governance and promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and the environment, continuously demonstrating Guiyang's strategic leading position and radiation effectiveness in the international academic landscape of environment and human geography.

All full paper submissions to the ESHG 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ESHG 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to eshg@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
