About to HSAL 2026
The 2026 International Conference on History, Society, and Language is solemnly scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China. It is an annual high-level international academic event that brings together cutting-edge academic forces in history, sociology, and linguistics from around the world. Hangzhou is the birthplace of Wu Yue culture and a gathering place of Southeast Chinese culture. It has always been the capital of the two Zhejiang provinces and a hub for international cultural exchanges. It has a strong foundation in historical literature research, deep evolution of social structure, and exploration of language and cultural mechanisms, forming a unique academic tradition and innovative pattern. This conference focuses on core topics such as the deep logic and linguistic cultural mapping of social changes in the historical context, the interactive mechanism of language policy evolution in the process of social transformation, the construction of regional historical narratives and collective memory from an interdisciplinary perspective, multilingual comparative research and the protection and inheritance of language diversity, and the deep mining and intelligent analysis of historical language archives empowered by digital humanities technology. All full paper submissions to the HSAL 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of HSAL 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to hsal@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
