About to MASM 2027
The 2027 International Conference on Materials Physics, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, and Structural Mechanics was held in Changzhou, with the common language of "asking questions about failure": how atomic scale defects grow into structural level accidents. The conference is aimed at material physics, advanced manufacturing and mechanics teams, as well as power battery, photovoltaic, rail transit equipment, and engineering machinery enterprises, to discuss topics such as electrode and structural materials, graphene and composites, high-temperature alloys, additive manufacturing defect evolution, laser processing residual stress, connection and welding, fatigue fracture, vibration noise, battery pack structural safety, blade and vehicle lightweighting. Agenda arrangement includes dissection of failed parts, challenge of in-service monitoring data, practical operation of production line rapid inspection, flash mob of youth posters, and visits to pilot workshops, emphasizing the predictability of "performance life cost". Changzhou combines new energy clusters, carbon fiber, and intelligent equipment foundations, making it suitable for cross scale verification. The conference aims to precipitate failure spectra, share testing methods and collaborative design specifications, and serve high-end equipment life extension and green manufacturing upgrades.
