About to MGCE 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Metallurgy, Geology, and Civil Engineering will be held in Zhengzhou, anchoring the characteristic development scenario of coordinated upgrading of mineral resources development and urban infrastructure in the Central Plains hinterland. It will provide a cross-border exchange platform for researchers, technical leaders in the metallurgical industry, and civil engineering practitioners in related fields at home and abroad to deeply connect cutting-edge technologies with the application scenarios of the central heavy industry. The conference focused on the optimization of low-carbon metallurgical smelting processes, iteration of deep geological exploration technology, intelligent development of urban underground space, and safety risk control of major infrastructure projects. Through theme sharing, dismantling of on-site cases in the heavy industry, and technical supply and demand docking sessions, it directly faced the actual bottlenecks in the upgrading of resource-based industries and infrastructure in central China, and exchanged practical implementation plans with strong adaptability. The conference relies on Zhengzhou's profound industrial cluster advantages in the fields of metallurgical equipment and infrastructure engineering to promote cross track linkage of technical resources in different fields, facilitate precise integration of industry, academia, research and application, and provide new interdisciplinary cooperation ideas for the transformation of traditional heavy industry in the central region towards green and intelligent direction.

All full paper submissions to the MGCE 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of MGCE 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to mgce@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
