About to MMID 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Industrial Design will be held in Guiyang, anchoring the characteristic track of upgrading the high-end equipment industry supporting the Southwest Computing Hub. It will be aimed at domestic and foreign researchers, technical leaders in the equipment manufacturing industry, and industrial design practitioners in related fields, and build a cross-border exchange platform that deeply connects cutting-edge technologies with mountainous characteristic manufacturing scenarios. The conference focused on optimizing the mechanical structure of computing power supporting equipment under extreme working conditions, iterating the performance of lightweight new industrial materials, humanized industrial design of intelligent equipment with mountainous characteristics, and product innovation and upgrading of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in Southwest China. Through theme sharing, case analysis of Guizhou mountainous intelligent manufacturing characteristics, and technical supply and demand docking sessions, it directly faced the actual bottlenecks of technology landing in the Southwest industrial scene and exchanged practical implementation plans with strong adaptability. The conference relies on the local development advantages of Guiyang in the fields of computing power industry and advanced manufacturing, promotes cross track linkage of technology resources in different fields, facilitates precise integration of industry, academia, research and application, and builds a specialized interdisciplinary collaborative ecosystem for the innovation and upgrading of the characteristic manufacturing industry in the southwestern mountainous areas, with the coordinated development of computing power and equipment.

All full paper submissions to the MMID 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of MMID 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to mmid@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
