About to MMIS 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Mechanical Manufacturing, Multimodal and Intelligent Systems will be held in Xi'an, focusing on the characteristic track of the integration of high-end equipment manufacturing and multimodal intelligent technology in Northwest China. It is aimed at domestic and foreign researchers, technical leaders in the equipment manufacturing industry, and practitioners of intelligent systems in related fields, and aims to build a cross-border exchange platform that deeply connects cutting-edge technologies with local heavy industry intelligent manufacturing scenarios. The conference focused on optimizing the precision of mechanical manufacturing production lines under multimodal perception, iterating the intelligent operation and maintenance multimodal analysis system for complex equipment, upgrading the performance of aerospace supporting intelligent systems, and implementing multimodal technology for intelligent monitoring of ancient architecture protection. Through theme sharing, dismantling of high-end intelligent manufacturing characteristic cases in Xi'an, and technical supply and demand docking sessions, it directly faced the actual bottlenecks of technology implementation in the northwest characteristic industry scenario and exchanged practical implementation plans with strong adaptability. The conference relies on Xi'an's profound scientific and educational industry accumulation in the fields of aerospace manufacturing and intelligent technology, promotes cross track linkage of technical resources in different fields, facilitates precise docking between industry, academia, research and application, and explores a new interdisciplinary collaboration paradigm empowered by multimodal technology for the intelligent upgrading of the high-end equipment industry in Northwest China.

All full paper submissions to the MMIS 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of MMIS 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to mmis@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
