About to RESV 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Rail Transit, Electromechanical Systems, and Vehicles will be held in Xi'an, focusing on the interdisciplinary fields of rail transit operation and maintenance technology, electromechanical system optimization, and vehicle engineering. It aims to build an international academic exchange platform for researchers from universities at home and abroad, experts in the rail transit equipment industry, and related practitioners, integrating industry, academia, and research. The conference focused on specialized topics such as health management throughout the entire lifecycle of rail vehicles, intelligent control of traction motor systems, optimization of the dynamic performance of transportation vehicles, and low-carbon upgrades for urban rail transit equipment. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and sharing of local practical cases, participants exchanged cutting-edge theories and frontline implementation experiences, and deliberated on opportunities for disciplinary development and existing practical challenges. The conference promotes the deep integration of intelligent technology and the field of rail transit equipment. Leveraging Xi'an's advantages in industry, science, education, and accumulation as a national railway hub, it opens up channels for the docking of industry, academia, and research resources, facilitates cross-regional academic cooperation and collaborative projects between schools and enterprises, and establishes an efficient hub for industry exchange and achievement transformation for the intelligent upgrading of the northwest rail transit equipment industry.

All full paper submissions to the RESV 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of RESV 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to resv@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
