About to SISD 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Smart Economy, Internet Finance, and Social Development will be held in Ningbo, focusing on the intersection of smart industry upgrading, digital financial innovation, and regional social development. It aims to build an international academic exchange platform for researchers from universities, experts in the financial technology industry, and related practitioners, both domestically and internationally, to facilitate the integration of industry, academia, and research. The conference focused on distinctive directions such as the construction of a smart logistics system for ports, innovation in cross-border e-commerce financial services, digital transformation of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, and risk prevention and control in local digital finance. Through keynote speeches, thematic discussions, and sharing of local practical cases, participants exchanged cutting-edge theories and frontline implementation experiences, and deliberated on opportunities for discipline development and existing practical challenges. The conference promotes the deep integration of digital technology with financial services and physical industries, leveraging Ningbo's industrial and trade advantages as a coastal open port city to facilitate cross-regional academic cooperation and school-local collaborative projects. It aims to provide a reusable local practical reference sample for the coordinated development of smart economy and digital finance in Yangtze River Delta port cities.

All full paper submissions to the SISD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of SISD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to sisd@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
