About to SMDI 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing, Data Mining, and Connected Technology will be held in Mianyang, anchoring the characteristic development scenario of the synergy between China Science and Technology City's scientific and technological innovation resources and advanced manufacturing industries. It will be aimed at domestic and foreign researchers, technical leaders in the intelligent manufacturing industry, and connected technology practitioners in related fields, and build a cross-border exchange platform for deep integration of cutting-edge technologies with military electronics and civilian manufacturing. The conference focused on the optimization of data mining algorithms for the entire process of industrial manufacturing, the construction of an industrial level network connectivity and information security system, the intelligent upgrading of precision manufacturing production lines, and the iteration of low altitude economic supporting intelligent equipment. Through theme sharing, local science and technology innovation project case analysis, and technology supply and demand docking sessions, it directly faced the actual bottlenecks of the landing of characteristic industrial technologies in the science and technology city, and exchanged practical implementation plans with strong adaptability. The conference relies on Mianyang's top-notch scientific and industrial accumulation in the fields of intelligent manufacturing and electronic information, promotes cross track linkage of technology resources in different fields, facilitates precise integration of industry, academia, research and application, and builds a distinctive interdisciplinary collaboration network for the technological upgrading of advanced manufacturing industries in western science and technology innovation cities.

All full paper submissions to the SMDI 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of SMDI 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to smdi@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
