About to VMAT 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Automation Technology will be held in Hangzhou, focusing on the characteristic track of the integration of intelligent connected vehicles and high-end equipment industries in the Yangtze River Delta region. It aims to provide a cross-border exchange platform for researchers, technical leaders in the vehicle manufacturing industry, and automation technology practitioners in related fields at home and abroad to deeply connect cutting-edge technologies with local intelligent automotive industry scenarios. The conference focused on optimizing the automation control performance of intelligent vehicle chassis, iterating the precision manufacturing process of core components of new energy vehicles, building a multi scenario automated testing system for vehicle road cooperation, upgrading the adaptation technology of vehicles in mountainous and hilly special working conditions, and other characteristic directions. Through theme sharing, dismantling of Hangzhou's intelligent connected vehicle characteristic cases, and technical supply and demand docking sessions, it directly faced the practical bottlenecks of technology implementation in the smart manufacturing scene of the Yangtze River Delta and exchanged practical implementation plans with strong adaptability. The conference leverages Hangzhou's industrial cluster advantages in the fields of intelligent vehicles and digital technology to promote cross track linkage of technology resources in different fields, facilitate precise integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and create a cross disciplinary innovation practice platform with Yangtze River Delta characteristics for the commercialization of domestic intelligent vehicle automation technology.

All full paper submissions to the VMAT 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of VMAT 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to vmat@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
