About to FSBB 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Food Science, Bioinformatics, and Biotechnology has landed in Xiamen, anchoring the characteristic development scenario of collaborative innovation between the marine food industry and biotechnology along the southeast coast. It is aimed at researchers, food industry technical leaders, and biotechnology practitioners in related fields at home and abroad, and building a cross-border exchange platform for deep integration of cutting-edge technologies and marine food industry scenarios. The conference focused on the optimization of biological information analysis of functional ingredients in marine food, the iteration of low-carbon processing biotechnology for food, the construction of an intelligent traceability system for the entire chain of marine food, and the digital protection of characteristic marine germplasm resources. Through theme sharing, on-site case analysis of Xiamen's marine food industry, and technical supply and demand docking sessions, the conference directly faced the practical bottlenecks of technology landing in the food biotechnology industry along the southeast coast and exchanged practical implementation plans with strong adaptability. The conference relies on the industrial and scientific advantages of Xiamen's marine biotechnology field to promote cross track linkage of technical resources in different fields, facilitate precise integration of industry, academia, research and application, and build a cross disciplinary collaboration link for the innovative development of the marine food technology industry in the southeast coastal area, facing both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

All full paper submissions to the FSBB 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of FSBB 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to fsbb@meeting-client.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
